in health we have been researching a bad thing that some people do my group picked binge drinking.
we had to pick six questions we picked.
the red one is the hardest one and the yellow is a medium one and green the easiest one.

In the novel Abomination by Robert Swindell Article 1 of the human rights commission is breached by the treatment of Jim.
We see this when Jim was kept in a cage for seven years and never seen day light and had no social interaction. This matters because Jim didn't know how to communicate with people and would just yell when he was hungry he also didn't know how to use a lot of technology that people use today. pg 143 'abomination's a boy Scott a little boy he lives in the cellar in a cage that is a quote from the novel saying that there is a little boy stuck in a cage. This shows that Jim's human rights where broken because he wasn't born equal since he stayed in a cage and he had no dignity and also wasn't born free. The author made it this way so you feel sympathy for Jim. because Jim was in a cage this worked well with, with the story line.
In gymnastics we have been learning how to do lots of different things
For the past four weeks we have been doing gymnastics in PE. We have been using 6 apparatus - bar, beam, parallel bars, mini tramp, floor/mat and trampoline.
One challenge for me was getting up on the parallel bars
One achievement for me was being able to do a dive roll on the mini tramp

article 1- all human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. They are endowed with reason and conscience and should act towards one another in a spirit of brotherhood. - means no one is born different from others- can't be born into slavery and kept in a cage. you have access to basic human rights food, water, shelter. Martha - born into a religious cult , has basic rights but no personal freedom Martha is treated like a slave. Martha went to live with her sister, because she gets to have nice cloths and friends treated better and not different . Why did the author want us to know about the breaches main story idea makes us feel empathy depressed. we forgive Martha for keeping the secret about Jim because she is also suffering.
Jim born and kept in a cage, not allowed out outside has basic human rights. lost rights to education. love, freedom, socialisation.- no clothes!
Why does the author want us to fell this way because it makes a good story builds suspense/ tension- feel sorry for Jim- feel angry at her parents shows negative influence of bullying. Resolved- gets to see his mum cloths freedom love. Trauma- not going to have normal life

In class we have been making a business for market day these ones are just test ones and not the real one.
we have been told to make a mood board saying pictures and symbols that we like for inspiration for the business we also have colours that we and that would go with it and fonts and some phrases for the business. Then we had to make a logo with whatever you want on it and we had to answer lots of questions like what the name is and what things you would be selling i would be selling coffee tea sandwiches and a few other things. My favourite part of this so far was the logo making i picked that logo because i like the colours and the font and i think it would fit well with the cafe. I think the Green Cafe would best be suited for adults because i think they would prefer coffee and tea and other things.

I made my logo with logo maker Technology has changed the way we shop.
Shopping online has made easier for people that can't get out of bed to get to the shops. It has also made contacts less as well now that we are in a pandemic covid-19 witch is good for people to still get the necessary things they need.
For elderly people or sick people can use click and collect so they don't have to be exposed to covid-19
and it is so much easier than how it used to be back in the 1900s when they had to go down to the shops to buy food and other necessary things.
In social studies we have been told to find what the definition of technology
Technology the application of scientific knowledge to the practical aims of human life or as it is sometimes phrased to the change and manipulation of the human environment that is my definition of technology.

Open Steak Sandwich Serves 4
Beef Schnitzel- trimmed, about 1 cm thickness (can be shredded & marinated before cooking)
Oil (for cooking meat)
4 Bread rolls or 1 ciabatta loaf, cut into 4 pieces
Mayonnaise
Sauces - own choice eg Tomato, BBQ, Sweet Chilli
Lettuce, Spinach or Mescalin salad leaves
Tomatoes, sliced
Red Onion rings
Cheese slices
Avocado
1. Quickly pan fry the meat over a medium high heat until just cooked, turning once during cooking. Allow to rest for 5 minutes. Serve as a piece or shredded
2. Cut rolls or ciabatta loaf pieces in half. These can be warmed or toasted if desired.
Spread the tops and the bottoms of the bread with mayonnaise and /or sauces chosen
3. Top half the bread with lettuce etc, tomato slices, steak and any other ingredients
4. Cover with the remaining bread pieces
5. Serve
In mayonnaise you can get vitamins C and K
In lettuce you can get vitamins A and C
In tomatoes you can get vitamins E and C
In red onion you can get manganese vitamin B6 and vitamin C
In cheese you can get calcium fat and protein
In avocado you can get vitamin C,K,B,E,A
My team worked really well together and we got everything done on time.
The appearance of the sandwich was really good it look fresh
the taste of it was good the steak wasn't over powering and you could taste everything in it. The texture was nice nut the bread was a bit tough it smelt very fresh and nice.
With this experiment is about teaching your kids about repealing germs with soap.
For this experiment you will need a bowl,water,dish soap,glitter.
first you will want to put water in the bowl or container then put glitter onto the water then you put a bit of dish soap into the bowl and watch the glitter go to the sides of the bowl.
I did this experiment and i wish i had put more glitter.
Pita bread.
Today in Home Economics we made a pita bread. In the beginning of the class before we could get into the practical, we had to wash out hands and put our apron on then stand at the back of the class as the teacher put us into groups at tables. Then she told us to clean the tables with disinfectant before we could start our practical. Then we grabbed little glass bowls to then get the ingredients. I chose tomato lettuce ham cheese and onion. I got my carbohydrates from the pita bread I got my protein from the ham I got my fats from the cheese I got some vitamin/minerals from the tomato and onion and lastly I got my fibre from the lettuce .
My team worked really well together we made the food on time and we did the dishes on time too
The appearance of my pita bread was really good it also tasted really good but would have been better if there was sauce? the lettuce and onion was very crunchy which helped the overall texture of my pita bread. It smelt very fresh
School should start at 10 am.
being tired and they will be sleepy and want to sleep. Students will not be as late because they will have more time to get up in the morning and get to school. They could feel sick in the morning from getting up so early, so they can’t come to school and miss important work or tests.
Kids will be able to eat breakfast in the morning since school starts so early in the morning kids don’t get to have breakfast. Making them moody and irritable and by the time it's morning tea the kids will be very hungry and upset. A side effect of this is not getting work done and distracting others in class and them not getting work done. Kids will be more open to learning things in class after eating.
Kids will be happier. Students will have more time in the morning to get ready for school. And do other things like chorus and they will be completely ready with all their things for school. I'm sure that kids will be happier to get up later.
